Individual Tuition End of Year Trip
Towards the end of the 2016-2017 school year a group of Individual Tuition students and their tutors and carers enjoyed a busy day out in London. The group tackled a packed schedule of tourist attractions using a range of modes of transport to experience our city in new and interesting ways.
Firstly, we encountered the tube and the DLR to end up at Royal Victoria DLR Station. From there we boarded the Emirates Cable Car over the Thames which afforded amazing views. Next, we ate a wide variety of eye-catching buffet cuisines at Jimmy’s World Restaurant at the O2 Arena. The students and adults who had not met before enjoyed the chance to socialise over their food. After lunch we went on a boat trip on the MBNA Clipper all the way to Embankment. It was a thrilling 45 minute ride during which we marvelled at such famous sites as Greenwich Observatory, St Paul’s Cathedral and Tower Bridge.
Overall, the group appreciated the opportunity to see iconic London views in a variety of ways, and the accompanying photos reveal that there were loads of smiles and good times on the day.
